Your Second Visit to Our Kansas City Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

Your second visit is the report of findings and first treatment.  On this visit you will be welcomed back and escorted to Dr. Mark’s office.  The doctor will go over all of the exam findings, show you your X-rays and tell you exactly what he feels is going on with your body.  You will be encouraged to ask as many questions as you need to feel comfortable with the treatment you are about to begin.

By the way, we believe in the support system.  This problem is most likely one that you’ve been dealing with for some time and as such your spouse, significant other, or other family member is probably aware of your suffering.  Because of this, we strongly encourage you to bring this person in with you during your report of findings so that they too can understand what is going on and the changes you will be experiencing over the next few visits.

Once all your questions are answered, and you fully understand what treatments you are about to receive, we will get started on your complaint.  What we do on the first treatment greatly depends on your condition and the severity of it.  Most likely, we will be giving you your first chiropractic adjustment.  To read more about the specifics of the adjustment, please refer to the Adjustment tab on the home page.

Dr. Mark Asks some important questions of interest to Kansas City residents - Chiropractor Kansas City Dr. Mark Asks...

Are chiropractors just concerned with the spine?
Our interest in the spine is because it covers the major communications conduit between your brain and your body. As a Kansas City chiropractor my job is to locate areas (usually along the spine) that interfere with proper nerve communications to and from your brain. Chiropractic adjustments help restore nervous system integrity. In this way, chiropractic care can affect the function of your entire body.
How does headache medication find the headache?
It can't! Chiropractors know that when you ingest a drug and it enters your bloodstream it numbs or deadens your entire body. Chiropractic adjustments, on the other hand, are specific, targeted and delivered with precision.
